هل فكر أحدكم أن يدخل بيت النمل 

صدقوني أنها ستكون زيارة مثيرة أكثر إثارة من الصعود إلى الفضاء والتجول على القمر

إن النمل حشرة صغيرة جداً لا تزيد على ملليمتر و مع ذلك فهي مهندسة معمارية عظيمة   تبني القلاع و الحصون   و الغرف والدهاليز

و المخازن   و تهندس بدرومات كاملة تحت الأرض 

و هناك نوع من النمل يمارس الزراعة    فيزرع نبات عيش الغراب   ويجلب له السماد من الأوراق المتعفنة  ثم يحصده عند نضجه ويخزنه في مخازنه 

و هناك نوع آخر من النمل   كيميائي متخصص   يمضغ الخشب ويحوله إلى نوع من الكرتون  ثم يبني من هذا الكرتون طرزاً هندسية معمارية عجيبة 

و هناك نوع ثالث من النمل الأفريقي يبني بيوتاً تشبه المسلّات ، ثم يحقق لها نوعاً من تكييف الهواء بفتح نوافذ سفلية لإدخال الهواء البارد   و نوافذ علوية لإخراج الهواء الساخن 

ويعيش هذا النوع من النمل حياة طبقية عجيبة  فنجد فيه الملكة والأميرات و الضباط ولكل منهما مساكنه الخاصة وباقي الخلية من العمال البروليتاريا تشتغل بلقمتها 

وهناك نوع أخر من النمل المحارب المقاتل الذي يهجم في جيوش مثل التتار على هذه القصور فيقتل الجيش والحراس ويستولي على مخازن الطعام والتموين وينقل البيض ويتعهده في بيته حتى يفقس ويخرج منه النمل الصغير فيجعل منه خدماً وعبيداً في مملكته

وهناك نوع آخر من النمل يعيش على الرعي 

فيرعى قطعاناً من حشرة المن ويحلبها ويعيش على افرازاتها السكرية

وللنمل لغة يتخاطب بها 

وبدون هذا التخاطب ما كان يمكن أن يوزع الوظائف ويقيم نظاماً اجتماعياً تتباين فيه الاختصاصيات

وعلماء البيولوجيا يقولون ان النمل يتخاطب عن طريق القبلات  بلغة كيميائية خاصة يفرزها مع اللعاب  وبدل الحروف المنطوقة هناك درجات وأنواع مختلفة من المذاق 

وللنملة عقل تدبر به حياتها 

فهي تجمع في الصيف وتدخر للشتاء  وتدبر ميزانية مجتمع كبير من النمل بلا عدد في مواجهة ظروف من البرد والجفاف بالغة الصعوبة

وأعجب ما في عالم النمل أن هناك نوعاً يرفض الحياة في مجتمع ونظام وخلايا ويختار أن يضرب في الآفاق ويهيم   كل حشرة تهيم وحدها   تسكن كل ليلة داخل ورقة ذابلة فإذا طلع النهار هجرت مسكنها ورحلت إلى مسكن آخر 

وهكذا تقضي حياتها تتنقل كل ليلة من جرسونيرة إلى جرسونيرة بلا مسؤوليات وبلا أعباء مثل حياة الهيبيين

 Ants are a very small insect that does not exceed a millimeter. Nevertheless, they are great architects who build castles, fortresses, rooms and corridors.

 And warehouses and fully engineered basements underground

 And there is a kind of ants that practice agriculture, so they grow mushrooms, bring them fertilizer from rotten leaves, then harvest them when they are ripe and store them in their stores.

 There is another type of ant, a specialized chemist who chews wood and turns it into a kind of cardboard, and then builds out of this cardboard amazing architectural designs.

 There is a third type of African ant that builds obelisk-like houses, then achieves a kind of air conditioning by opening lower windows to bring in cold air and upper windows to remove hot air.

 This type of ants lives a strange class life, in which we find the queen, princesses and officers, and each of them has its own dwellings, and the rest of the cell of proletarian workers works with its food.

 There is another type of warrior ant that attacks in armies such as the Tatars on these palaces, kills the army and guards, seizes food and supply stores, transports eggs and takes care of them in his house until they hatch and small ants emerge from him, making them servants and slaves in his kingdom.

 There is another type of ant that lives on grazing

 He grazes herds of aphids, milks them, and lives on their sugary secretions

 And ants have a language to communicate with

 Without this communication, it would not have been possible to distribute jobs and establish a social system in which specializations vary

 And biologists say that ants communicate through kisses with a special chemical language that they secrete with saliva. Instead of the spoken letters, there are different degrees and types of taste.

 The ant has a mind to manage its life

 They collect in the summer, save for the winter, and manage the budget of a large community of ants in the face of extremely difficult conditions of cold and drought.

 The most amazing thing about the world of ants is that there is a species that refuses to live in a society, system and cells, and chooses to multiply in the horizons and wander. Each insect wanders alone and lives every night inside a withered leaf.

 And so she spends her life moving every night from prisoner to prisoner without responsibilities and without burdens like the life of hippies
